Eligibility

You are eligible to apply for a Champions of Senior Living Bursary from the Senior Living CaRES Fund if you meet the following conditions:

 • You have worked in a Canadian long-term-care home or retirement community for 3 months or more and you completed any probation period.

• You have NOT received financial support from the Senior Living CaRES Fund in the past

• You intend to remain working/employed in the senior living sector for at least three years

Educational Program Information: Applicants must be enrolled in a course/program at the time the bursary is awarded (September 2026) as the bursary funds will be paid directly to your educational institution or course provider.
